That’s what you’ll be in with one of these gorgeous Alex Perry gowns. Mr. Perry has just launched his latest collection of bridal gowns and they are truly stunning. This season Alex is steering his brides away from the very popular strapless gown, as straps are set to make a comeback. It almost makes me want to get hitched all over again. Well our wedding anniversary is coming up soon so who knows?
Nothing like a bit of a jig to start the morning and this was song and dance at its finest. We were all tapping our feet in the studio today to the delightful sounds of Wayne Scott Kermond’s new hit show Candyman. The show pays tribute to the ultimate song and dance man Sammy Davis Jnr. And from the little taste we got today this candy girl will be in attendance.
Posted 18/05/09 at 01:48 pm Chicago Chaos (5 comments) I have seen many productions of Chicago but I have to say Saturday night’s was the pick of the glitter. It was absolutely phenomenal. Caroline O’Connor and Sharon Millerchip are insatiable. They must be fit as fiddles because the moves they pulled off were nothing short of miraculous. Here are my happy snaps of the evening as featured on today’s show.
Some people, like our very own Rozz Switzer decide to pop em out as fast as they can whilst others vote to pace themselves. When is the right time to have your second child? Well it seems as though the jury is still out on this hotly contentious topic, as our panel of mothers (and Jamie) had their say this morning. A new study has revealed that the ideal time is either when your first child is under one or over four, but what do you think?
Speaking of bellies, join us tomorrow to discover how you can loose that baby belly.
Weren’t they just in the palm of Mr Andre Rieu’s hand? Some of Sydney’s biggest Andre fans arrived bright and early outside the Channel Nine gates yesterday morning with DVD’s and signature books in tow. And Mr Rieu did not disappoint! It’s always great fun having one the Netherlands most famous exports on the show. And of course one of our own famous exports also joined us on stage. Mirusia Louwerse’s beautiful voice has taken her from Brisbane to the international stage with Andre’s orchestra. It is a pleasure to have her back home with us. She even somehow convinced Andre to try a little vegemite. I don’t think he was particularly impressed but one things for certain our audience we’re happy little vegemite’s yesterday!
Do you like my pixie cut? I think it's quite becoming actually. The Channel Nine crew had an absolute ball at this years Logies. There were plenty of laughs
and even more glasses of champers to be had. Here are some of my happy snaps. I will post some more during the week.
The shape of the belly, the position of the foetus, the wedding ring on a string theory, do any of these ‘old wives tales’ really help in predicting the sex of a baby? One of our pregnancy panel members Dr. Christine Bennett had her very own theory today. According to her it’s a boy if you can’t tell a woman is pregnant from the back. We put this to the test this morning with one of our producers Sonia. And apparently she’s expecting a boy! We’ll see in a couple of weeks if Dr Bennett’s theory is right, but lets face it 50/50 odds aren’t bad.
We’ll be talking about pregnancy all week this week, so make sure you don’t miss it!
Jamie and I had great fun trying on the Snuggie this morning, much to the amusement of the crew. We were all in absolute hysterics, but I actually think it’s quite fetching! What do you think?
It’s personally my favourite annual competition- the Cleo Bachelor of the Year. And I don’t think I’m alone. The boys had many of our female crew members smiling from ear to ear this morning. The very debonair Mr. Axel Whitehead took out this years gong, beating out fellow bachelors Tom Bunting and Danny Clayton. What really surprised me was that ten of the fifty contenders didn’t turn up to the awards. Talk about bad sports! Very ungentlemanly.
